Neurological Status and Rehabilitation Outcomes in Nontraumatic Spinal Cord Injury: Feasibility Study Findings

This study analyzed data from 178 individuals with nontraumatic spinal cord injury enrolled in rehabilitation centers, examining demographic characteristics and neurological changes from admission to discharge using standardized assessment methods. Results showed most participants had paraplegia rather than tetraplegia, with only 8.6% having complete injuries, and significant improvements in motor function and sensory scores were documented during inpatient rehabilitation.
