Viloxazine Extended Release for Adults With ADHD and Comorbid Depression and/or Anxiety: Phase 4 Trial Results

This phase 4 open-label trial (n=161, mean age 39.4 years) evaluated viloxazine ER (200-600 mg/day), an FDA-approved nonstimulant ADHD medication, in adults with ADHD and comorbid depression and/or anxiety over 14 weeks. Treatment significantly improved ADHD symptoms measured by AISRS total score (baseline mean 37.5, endpoint change -17.3, p<0.0001) with safety monitoring via telehealth and home devices.
