Does Short-Term Memory Moderate the Relation Between ADHD Symptom Dimensions and Anger Regulation in Children with ADHD?

StudiuADHDÎncredere bună

This study examined whether phonological and visuospatial short-term memory deficits moderate the relationship between ADHD symptom dimensions (inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity) and anger dysregulation in 168 children aged 8-12 with ADHD. Results showed significant interactions between hyperactivity-impulsivity and visuospatial memory on anger dysregulation, and between inattention and phonological memory on anger dysregulation, suggesting memory systems partially explain how different ADHD symptoms affect emotion regulation.
