Mind-Wandering, Emotion Dysregulation, and Non-Suicidal Self-Injury in Adult ADHD: A Comparative Study with Remitted Major Depression

This study examined the relationship between ADHD, mind-wandering, emotional dysregulation, and non-suicidal self-injury in 93 adults, comparing those with ADHD to those with remitted depression. Results showed ADHD participants had significantly higher mind-wandering scores correlated with symptom severity, while self-injury rates and emotion dysregulation were similar between groups.
