Longitudinal Relationship of Childhood ADHD Symptoms with Perceived Stress and Job Satisfaction in Adulthood

This longitudinal study tracked over 5,400 participants from adolescence to adulthood, finding that childhood inattention symptoms predict higher perceived stress and lower job satisfaction in adults. Job control emerged as a protective factor, with its stress-reducing benefits being especially pronounced for individuals with greater attention difficulties.
