Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Interventions for Gambling and Gaming Disorders: A Systematic Review
This systematic review examined 12 studies evaluating virtual reality and augmented reality-based interventions for preventing and treating gambling disorder and gaming disorder. Results showed these immersive technologies effectively reduced craving, anxiety, symptom severity, and addictive behaviors while improving self-regulation and coping skills.
