The Role of Sport Participation in Social Interaction and Employment of Individuals with Down Syndrome: A Parent-Centered Qualitative Study

This qualitative phenomenological study examined 18 mothers' perspectives on how sport participation influences social interaction and employment outcomes in individuals with Down syndrome. Parents reported that regular sport participation improved physical, psychological, and social development while fostering responsibility and cooperation skills that transfer to workplace settings.
