Promoting Research Excellence in Down Syndrome: Proceedings of the 5th International Conference of the Trisomy 21 Research Society

The 5th Trisomy 21 Research Society International Conference (Rome, 2024) convened approximately 500 scientists from 26 countries with over 900 attendees to present research on Down syndrome across the lifespan, including genomic regulation, cellular mechanisms, cognition, neurodevelopment, and aging. The conference featured keynote lectures, symposia, workshops, and over 150 oral presentations plus 230 poster abstracts addressing the medical, developmental, and neurodegenerative aspects of trisomy 21, including its association with early-onset Alzheimer's disease.
