Co-Occurring Conditions and Social Factors Influencing Health Outcomes in Down Syndrome
This study analyzed caregiver-reported health data from 542 individuals with Down syndrome (ages 0-21) to identify co-occurring medical conditions and factors associated with health status. Regression modeling revealed that parental sex and parental health were significant predictors of health outcomes in children with Down syndrome, while healthcare guideline completion did not correlate with overall health scores.
