Vaccination in Individuals with Down Syndrome: Immune Vulnerability, Safety, Efficacy and Opportunities

Individuals with Down syndrome face elevated infection risk yet vaccination remains underutilized in this population. This review confirms vaccines are generally safe and immunogenic in people with DS while identifying opportunities to enhance vaccine response and health outcomes through continued research.
