Developmental Profile and Variability in Preschool-Age Children With Down Syndrome

StudiuSindrom DownÎncredere înaltă

This study assessed 43 preschool-aged children with Down syndrome using the Griffiths-III developmental scales across five domains, revealing a peaks-and-valleys pattern with relative strengths in personal-social-emotional and gross motor skills, and greater variability in language/communication and personal-social-emotional domains. Findings provide clinically useful information for tailoring early intervention programs and supporting optimal development in young children with Down syndrome.
