Phubbing behavior in adolescents with ADHD and cognitive disengagement syndrome: a case-control study

This case-control study compared phubbing (phone snubbing in social contexts) between 48 adolescents with ADHD and 38 healthy controls aged 12-17, using validated assessment scales and DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. The research examined associations between phubbing behaviors, ADHD symptoms, and Cognitive Disengagement Syndrome severity to address a gap in understanding technology engagement patterns in neurodevelopmental disorders.
