From restless nights to peaceful sleep: mothers' lived experiences in dealing with sleep problems among children with autism spectrum disorder
This qualitative study explored 13 mothers' experiences managing sleep disturbances in children with mild-to-moderate autism spectrum disorder. Findings identified three themes: the exhaustion of prolonged sleep struggles, mothers' search for professional guidance and sleep management strategies, and gradual adaptation with improved outcomes through appropriate intervention and support.
