Larger Colavita Effect in School-Aged Children with ADHD: Visual Dominance in Multisensory Processing

This study examined visual dominance effects in children with ADHD using the Colavita paradigm, finding that children with ADHD show a larger visual dominance effect (greater reliance on visual over auditory information) compared to typically developing peers. The magnitude of this effect decreased with increasing inattention severity, suggesting an abnormal multisensory integration time window related to ADHD symptomatology.
