MMPI-2-Restructured Form Profiles in Adults with ADHD: Effects of Comorbid Psychopathology and ADHD Presentation Type

StudiuADHDÎncredere înaltă

This empirical study examined MMPI-2-RF personality inventory profiles in 413 adults referred for ADHD assessment, comparing those with ADHD-only (n=145) to those with comorbid disorders (n=192) and non-ADHD psychiatric controls (n=55). Results showed adults with ADHD-only displayed isolated elevations on cognitive complaints scales, while comorbid groups showed widespread clinical elevations across multiple scales, with presentation type (inattentive vs. combined) producing small-to-moderate profile differences.
