Sleep in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Sleep problems are highly prevalent in both ASD and ADHD, and can exacerbate core symptoms while increasing parental stress, necessitating proper assessment and treatment. This literature review examines the burden, pathophysiology, etiology, and evidence-based evaluation and management strategies for sleep disorders across both conditions.
