Autism-Related Language Preferences of French-Speaking Autistic Adults: An Online Survey

StudiuAutismÎncredere înaltă

A survey of 541 French-speaking autistic adults investigated their terminology preferences for discussing autism, autistic identity, and related concepts. Results show strong preferences for identity-first language (e.g., 'autiste') and neurodiversity-affirming terms like 'neurological difference' over deficit-based language.
