This pilot study evaluated how a sensory-adapted digital game supported engagement and task completion in 33 children with ASD aged 5-12 across varying levels of instructional clarity and sensory complexity. Results showed non-linear performance patterns with notable declines at high-demand levels, emphasizing the importance of clear instructions, reduced visual complexity, and predictable feedback for supporting autistic children's engagement.
